How To Turn Sawdust Into Charcoal?

Sawdust is the production waste of many wood processing plants, sawdust can even produce several tonnes or tens of tonnes per month. If it is sold directly to others the price is very cheap. If the sawdust is used in a charcoal making machine, the price of charcoal is much higher. Thus, you can get a good profit.

If you want to make charcoal from sawdust. You need a charcoal making machine production line, not a single machine. According to the different process of processing sawdust into charcoal, it can be divided into two process routes: first forming and then carbonising and first carbonising and then forming.

Process Of Sawdust Processing Into Charcoal

If there is only sawdust in the raw material, there is no other large material. The raw material can only be carbonised directly using the continuous carbonisation furnace. If there are more waste materials and edges in the raw material, you need to use a wood crusher, which is needed to crush different sizes of wood waste into sawdust.

If the moisture content in the sawdust is too large, it needs to be pre-treated and dried or dried naturally first. Usually, in some wood processing plants, the sawdust produced by processing with wetter logs has a high water content. After drying in a dryer, the sawdust is then sent to a continuous carbonisation furnace for carbonisation. The whole carbonisation process takes about 30 minutes. The carbonised sawdust is removed from the bottom outlet of the furnace. The Continuous Carbonisation Furnace is a continuous operation, with the feed and discharge running continuously. Therefore, it is called a continuous carbonisation furnace.

After carbonisation, the sawdust is then mixed well using a mixer and binder. It is then formed into coal rods using a pulverised coal briquetting machine. The moulded charcoal is then dried naturally or in a drying oven. Finally finished charcoal.
