Vertical ring die pellet mill is suitable for pressing materials which are difficult to be bonded and moulded. Such as: rice husk, peanut shells, tree branches, bark, wood chips, straw, coconut shells, coffee shells, eucalyptus, palm silk and other materials. It is a high-density granulation moulding equipment. Widely used in: biomass burning plant, wood processing plant, food factory, fertiliser factory, feed factory, power plant, distillery and other waste gas scraps re-cycling.

The mould and pressure roller are made of alloy steel. Processed by heat treatment. It can ensure the granulation effect. Thus the service life is increased. The working mode is from inside to outside extrusion type. The combination of centrifugal force and extrusion force is utilised. The hardness and density of the pellets can be guaranteed at the same time. It can also increase the pelleting production efficiency. Vertical ring die pellet mill adopts the unique design of 4 pressure rollers. It increases the frequency of extrusion and improves the production capacity.


 

Technological Process

The mould of the vertical ring die pellet mill is a porous cylinder. It rotates by transmission. There are 2-4 free rotating with grooves in the cylinder. Or slave self-rotating rollers. The biomass raw material enters the steel film. In the rotating roller pressed into the workshop. Inside embedded in the mould holes, the material from the outer base of the steel film. Eventually cut into cylindrical granular form by knives. On the ring die and the pressure roller, the linear velocity is equal everywhere. No additional friction is generated.
